Sometimes I can’t believe I get to live here. Yes, days like today when it’s minus a bazillion degrees outside, and the roads are all snow covered, I do wish to be on a tropical beach. But honestly, we live in one of the best places in the world. Surrounded by the golden prairies, the valley’s of Drumheller, and the incredible Rocky Moutains… I can’t complain!
Today’s blog post is sent in one of those locations (the Rocky Mountains in case you haven’t already guessed!). Canmore is so amazing, I wish I could shoot there all the time.
Samantha and Jordan had planned on an outdoor ceremony at Quarry Lake Park, but our super reliable Alberta weather *insert sarcasm* had other plans. So we had a quick switchroo, and had the ceremony at Cornerstone Theatre, where the reception also was. It was SPECTACULAR! What an amazing place. The event staff were so accommodating and helpful, and the setting was everything you could want in a mountain resort town. Food: Amazing, Staff: Amazing, Smores Bar: Amazing, Decor: Amazing (Can you see a trend here???).
I have to also shout out to the bride and groom. You were both SO AWESOME to work with. Des and I kept commenting on how welcome you made us feel and how much you took care of US throughout the day! Wow… we were sure spoiled by you 🙂 And let’s not forget those MASKS that the groom and groomsmen wore… hilarious! I honestly think those are some of my favorote “groom shots” to date! Every little detail was so well thought out! I also loved the favors being trees to plant when the guests went home. Such a fun idea.
I could go on and on about how beautiful/awesome/fun this wedding couple was, but why don’t you have a look at the photos and see for yourself 🙂
